Graduated from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, with a BFA in Creative Writing and minors in Journalism and Music in 2012.

Earned a MS in Art Therapy and Counseling from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2021. Specializations include: trauma and neuroscience, medical art therapy, school art therapy, and Jungian art therapy.

Presented at the American Art Therapy Association 2022 conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, “Preparing for Subpoena to Court: A Case Study.”

Experience as an art therapist at the following types of facilities: inpatient rehabilitation unit; juvenile detention center; acute psychiatric hospital; agency for intensive in-home programs, family counseling, and outpatient services; and multisystemic therapy community program.
